Saturday, 12th January
Left at 9:15 for Hollywood where we drove down Hollywood Boulevard then looked at the sidewalk stars (not all as they went for many blocks), hand and footprints in the cement and saw many ‘characters’ – Shrek, Elvis, Superman, Marilyn Monroe etc.
We went to the Hollywood Museum which was in the Max Factor building where movie stars’ make up was done in the early days. The museum had costumes and belongings from MANY stars over the years especially 1930s- 1960s. Drove along Sunset Boulevard and through Beverley Hills. Saw some very big expensive houses. Arrived home at 3 pm and did some washing. The boys played outside and I visited Granny in her Granny flat. We went with Lisa to church 5:30 – 8:00 (20 min drive). Packed up after dinner and played cards.
