Monday, 7th January
Up at 7 am. The day started out overcast the then the sun came out. It wasn’t too cold. We arrived at Lego land at 9:30 and had morning tea while we waited for the car park to open (9:45). We were there from 10 – 5 (opening hours).
There were not many people there so there was no queuing for rides. We went on just about all of them. I even went on a mini, slower roller coaster (no loops) but it seemed fast enough.
There were some really great Lego constructions and themes, including pirates, knight’s castle, Egypt, cities and jungle.
These are Las Vegas Hotels, which we had seen just a few days previously.
The boys also did a 45 min robotics workshop using a computer to program a Lego robot. It was very good. We all enjoyed our day.
